my 1200r yamaha gets to 50k,s then when exelarating it stops start stops startsmotor does not cut out just goes fine up to 50.what could it be. got plenty fuel.

question about GP1300R Oil Injection

Hello, have anybody ever try to remove the oil pump on a 06 GP1300R, block up the hole, and just use premix like 40 to 1 gas, like in a carb set up. Are there any side effects, like clogged up fuel injectors? Thank you.

superjet stock head cc's

does anybody know how many cc's in a stock head (my guess is 35cc i took the head off clean it then took a seringe and fill it to the rim gave me 35 ml does that sound write ?)

Waveraider Fuel gauge

Hello,

My 96 Waveraider always show the fuel level at 1/2 full. I checked the floats and they are all free from sticking. Do I need to replace the sender or is the display at fault? Any help is appreciated.

Superjet head question

I was told to have the head on my superjet shaved some. How much can I have them take off to run 91 pump gas?

Also, when Ireinstall the head, should I just use a new oem gasket or should I use a sealant as well as the gasket?

Should I send to groupK or will a local machine shop be able to do it for cheaper?

2005 FX Cruiser - battery replacement recommendations

I have a 2005 FX cruiser that needs a new battery. I wanted to get away from the standard 16CLB batteries that require the acid setup. I was looking at the Odyssey PC625 battery and was wondering if anyone had any experience with it or some other battery they could recommend. I was also wondering if the PC625 posts were compatible as-is or if something extra was needed to hook it up. Thanks.

Water box for 1995 yamaha III 700

I am having a heck of a time finding a replacement part for my waverunner. I have had two different shops tell me they cant find a water box for it. Part number is GE1-U7550-01-00. There are a few web sites out there that have the part on there but you cant order it from them. Also, there has got to be a way to customize the exhaust or something to just get the thing running again. Any ideas?

I have a 1994 Superjet that just had a few bare spots on it. I tried touching it up but did it wrong and now need advise on redoing it.

What I did was get white Gel coat and mixed that up and applied it to the areas. When I sanded it down and tried to feather it, I just made new spots on the edges becuase it was so easy to sand though the then white. I mixed up more white gel coat and and made about 4 applications so that it would be plenty thick to sand on. The layers were not...

Electral shut down

Have a 99 XLT1200 Limited Runs great then all at once shut down. total shut down battery dead and will not turn over engine. Charge or put in new battery runs great about 2 min. and total shut down battery will not turn over. Can recharge and same thing. Anyone any ideas?

GP800 Wear Ring Help

The wear ring on my 2001 GP800 is shot. I have removed the nozzle deflector, trim ring and nozzle. How does the impeller duct come off so I can get to the impeller housing? According to microfiche diagrams the drive shaft appears to be just held on by the bolt under the cap.

Any advice is appreciated.

Hi,

Just developed a new fault on my Yamaha WR500

Starts and runs fine at idle / low revs, but as soon as you rev it up it starts to cutout almost as if it's hitting the rev limiter, but at nowhere
near full rpm doesn't actually stall

Checked overheat sensor - all OK.

Compression is 140Psi on both cylinders, 3 sets of plugs tried - same result.
Done all those tests:-
Coil HT ..........5.5 Kohms
Coil LT ..........0.3 ohms...

I have a yamaha waveraider 1100 2 stroke that my jack@ss friend borrowed and pulled water into the engine, carbs and hull. It wouldn't start at first, but I have it running now, but took it to the lake and top speed is 35mph in a straight line (should be 65 mph). I just bought a GP1200 used. I was wondering when I was looking online at some pictures some of the ski's have a GPR 1200 logo and mine just says YAMAHA where that goes. Can anyone tell me the difference.

Prices for the Yamaha 1300r over here in the uk are just over £8000 and In the states Ive seen them for £4500,I am just wondering whether with taxes and shipping I would be better off,Im kinda guessing I would be.
