Hi - I have had the same problem, I would stay away from a used motor, - I took the control unit apart and found that water had gotten into the housing, the sealant failed. the motor seized, replaced it, then replaced the trim motor controller and the trim sensor, After that I found that the cable controling the trim was seized. After taking it apart and cleaning and lubricating the cable my trim works. However, I am still having problems with the trim. I have power to the the motor, and switch, the switch works in both directions. I am reluctant to put it all back together without the trim working. When I use jumpers, I can get the control to work. I cant find a wiring diagram other than on the Kawasaki parts site, but there is no explanation as to what each wire does. I'm not sure that I have given you any help on your problem, I think that you may be able to turn the trim actuator screw to keep the trim neutral. I am going to try the same thing. I have spent over $600 in new parts plus knuckle busting this thing - I am not giving up, so if anyone out there can help - I appreciate the comments.
