Ok first off I've never work on a Pol before (i'm a kawi guy) but there is a first time for everything.
I'm helping a guy with a 900 with a 1050 motor (I think that is what it is) anyways.. it's a 3 cyc motor. I checked the compresson on it and it was 1=30:2=90:3=40. So I started to take the heads off (since they are not connect) and #1 wasn't really on there. the Onwer said that the heads weren't torques (just tighted) because that is the way you are surpose to do it. Now I'm not Mr. expert, but i'm pretty sure ALL heads on Every motor must have a torque spec and not just tight.
After getting the #1 off It was beat up. It looked like the ring got caught and just chewed up the piston.
#3 looked fine but the rubber seal was blown out.
question is:
What is the torgue on the head bolts?
I there a certain way the head should be placed on the cyc?
That's it for now.. more to follow I'm sure.
