I want to relay a major problem that I had with an order that I placed with Performance Motorsports last week, I hope this prevents someone else from having this happen to them.
last sunday I called Tim at Performance Motorsports and placed an order for a set of brushes for my PWC starter. Tim said that he had the part in stock and I told him that I needed it by wednesday so I would need it shipped second day air. Tim said this would not be a problem and that he would call me on Monday to let me know the tracking number of the package. Well Monday came without a phone call, so on Monday afternoon I called him and asked about the package, he said that he was in the shop and would call me in 5 minutes to verify that the package has been shipped and to give me the tracking number...well...no phone call, so I called back MOnday evening and Tim said that the package will go out in the evenings mail. Well, Wednesday came and no package...I called Tim and asked about the package and asked for the tracking number so I could find out where the package was, He said that he was "in the shop" and would call me back in 5 minutes....well...no phone call.....Thursday cam and still no package and no phone call....Friday came....no package...no phone call....I called Friday afternoon...Someone else answered the phone, said he didn't know anything about it and would have Time call me back.....well...a few hours Tim called me and said that the package was on his counter and had not been shipped...He said that "the girls" forgot to ship it......I told him to forget it...I needed it last wednesday. This is very poor customer relations. The fact that I called him 3 or 4 times that week and still the package was not shipped...He didn't even check on it....and didn't ever call back......I will never buy anything from him EVER.....And I hope this post keeps someone else from getting caught up in this Mickey Mouse company. I ended up buying the part from WWW.PARTSLAND.COM....they have a great staff and great customer service......I hope Tim learned a lesson from this.....He single handed screwed up a weekend of jetskiing that I had planned for my family.
